On the 13th and 14th of February 2025, the third international Drivers for Wood Construction (DWC) conference was held in Joensuu, Finland. The main theme of the conference was “Future Green Cities Fostering Growth Based on Wood.” The conference consisted of seminars and visits to wood construction sites in the Joensuu area.
On the seminar day of the conference, InnovaWood delivered a presentation on ‘Competitiveness of Wood Construction and Regional Economy – European Framework.’
The conference was organized by Karelia University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the University of Eastern Finland, the Natural Resources Institute Finland, and the European Forest Institute.
