On 19 September 2024, InnovaWood members Florence Kuijl and Eva Čeh visited the EcoReFibre project partner at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala.
EcoReFibre brings together a diverse group of stakeholders and partners working across different disciplines and sectors, all with a shared goal of closing the loop in the European fibreboard industry. As project communication partners, the InnovaWood team visited the site to conduct interviews with scientists who collaborate closely with private companies in the production and testing of recycled fibreboards.
On this occasion, under the guidance of Prof. Stergios Adamopoulos, EcoReFibre project coordinator, the InnovaWood team explored the work of researchers Changling Xu and Percy Alao, who generously shared insights into a typical day in their research.
