On the 20th of December 2024, the FurnitureLCA project was inaugurated online. InnovaWood member Patrycja Zaton attended the inauguration, representing InnovaWood.
FurnitureLCA received 250,000 EUR within the framework of the EU’s Erasmus+ programme. The project aims to equip furniture companies with the knowledge to conduct product lifecycle assessments, instruct them on how to measure product and organizational environmental footprints (PEF and OEF), and guide them in handling Environmental Product Declarations to make informed environmental decisions.
A total of five partners participate in this project. Alongside the project coordinator, Furnitrue sp. z o.o., the project partners are Amuebla, InnoRenew CoE, InnovaWood, and Globalnet sp. z o.o.
InnovaWood contributes to the project in knowledge and digital tools (WP2), certification tool development (WP3), and is the communications leader (WP4). We look forward to making a contribution to sustainable practices in the furniture industry.
