NEBA Alliance gathers for General Assembly | Berlin, Germany

On the 9th and 10th of April 2025, the NEBA Alliance General Assembly took place in Berlin, Germany. The assembly was co-hosted by Bauhaus Earth and InnovaWood.

The goal of this Partnering Event was to connect educators, trainers, projects, and funders committed to co-designing the NEB Academy for a carbon-neutral building sector. The event explored possible alignment between various NEB-inspired projects and the NEBA, and jointly sketched out common interests, partnerships, future actions, and funding mechanisms.

On behalf of InnovaWood, Oliver Jancke moderated two sessions. Namely, Session A: Pains and Gains Matchmaking, where participants identified the needs and complementarities of their organisations to collaborate and contribute to the NEBA platform. Additionally, alongside Andreja Kutnar from InnoRenew, Oliver co-moderated the closing session.

Special attention was given to the NEBA Alliance Open Call, which provides funding for new training hubs to join the consortium, for new partners to join existing hubs, and for training materials to be added to the NEBA platform. Applications are open until the 5th of May.
