On 4 December 2024, Prologue V: Education and Vocational Training – “Perspectives from the New European Bauhaus Academy on Upskilling and Reskilling the Timber Construction Sector” – took place at the 28th International Timber Construction Conference in Innsbruck, Austria.
Co-organizied in partnership with the Bundesministerium für Land- und Forstwirtschaft, Regionen und Wasserwirtschaft, Ministrstvo za gospodarstvo, turizem in šport / Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport and InnoRenew CoE, this event highlighted the importance of complementing education and training in the wood construction sector with policy support.
InnovaWood was represented by Uwe Kies, who presented the Outreach NEBA Hub during the NEB Academy showcase. Namely, the NEB Academy is one of key initiatives for upskilling and reskilling, driving innovation, and preparing the wood construction workforce for a climate-positive future.
